Great Expectations
Yarmouth High School teachers are exploring and developing understanding around our school-wide expectations.
- Communicate effectively;
- Exhibit personal responsibility, civic engagement, and global awareness;
- Work independently and collaboratively;
- Demonstrate critical, creative, and innovative thinking;
- Develop understanding through inquiry, research, and synthesis.
Each post written by a teacher will explore an expectation and its application to the classroom.
The goals of this project are:
- develop better understanding about these key ideas in our practice
- extend the conversation to include the process of writing
- bring in new resources to our community
- improve the inter-discipline approach in our school
